Green Acres 365 offers exciting in-school lunchtime and after school programs! With over 50 years experience creating children’s programs, we have developed a wide variety of interactive and fun multi-media, arts, science and sport programs, including Lego Robotics, Minecraft, Video Game Creator, Babysitting Course, Wacky Science, Dancercise, Play with Clay and so much more. Click here to see all of our programs. We are a board-approved service provider in York Region and Toronto. We also run programs in private schools and Montessori schools across the GTA. We will work with your school’s administration or parent council to customize programs to meet the school’s timing needs, interests and budgets.

    Throughout the year, we provide both new and returning families an opportunity to come and visit our facility. During an open visit, one of the Directors will be onsite to answer any questions that parents may have and to provide details about our camp programs. It is a great way for new families to introduce their child(ren) to Green Acres in the off season. Our next Open Visit is Sunday, November 27th from 10:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.

    Our Wahano-Ventures program is filling up quickly this year. Wahano-Ventures is an exclusive opportunity for Green Acres campers to try out all the amazing adventures of sleepover camp without signing up for a full overnight session. Feel at ease knowing that your child will be going to Camp Wahanowin with their Green Acres friends, while being supervised by trusted Green Acres counsellors, Wahanowin staff and Directors. Conveniently located just over an hour north of Green Acres on beautiful Lake Couchiching, Wahanowin offers a full range of water, landsports, creative arts and adventure programs in a fabulous facility.

    We received amazing feedback from our MyCAMP program in 2016! Each week, MyCAMP Campers (completing Grades 3-7) get the unique opportunity to choose from one of four specialty camps – Science & Technology, Creative Arts, Performing Arts and Sports/Outdoor Adventures. New and exciting featured programs for 2017 include Minecraft, Fun Fit, the MyCAMP Play featuring Beauty and The Beast, Cake Decorating, Bling Your Room as well as many new afternoon choice periods! MyCAMP is a great way to develop new skills while having fun with other campers with similar interests.



    Our amazing All-Star Sports Camp program caters both to our younger and older campers. Our Raptor program, for campers completing SK and Grade 1, exposes children to a variety of different sports (up to 10 per week). Campers remain with their cabin group and their counselors throughout the day. Campers completing Grade 2 and older can choose from up to 15 different sports – 1 Major sport for the morning and 2 Minor sports in the afternoon. Sport choices are made on a weekly basis.



    A leadership program for teens completing Grades 8 & 9. This multi-faceted program allows students to gain leadership experience in placements throughout the camp, the opportunity to earn up to eighteen community service volunteer hours and make life long friendships and memories. This program also includes a three day, two night overnight leadership trip to Camp Wahanowin at the beginning of each month.


    Many of our Point-to-Point Bus Routes are direct, non stop routes to camp from neighbourhood schools.

    For the love of dance!!! Each day campers will be introduced to new styles of dance including acro, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre and more. Campers will have the opportunity to practice and learn new acro tricks. Throughout the week they will create a dance to perform at the MyCamp Friday Showcase.

    Games of Strategy

    Is it luck or skill?  Campers will be challenged and taught the skills involved in playing strategic board games such as Blokus, Monopoly, Risk, Settlers of Catan and other popular games. They will learn how to make every move count and develop strategic decision-making skills. They will use these skills to create their own board games including the design, rules and instructions.  At the end of the week, teams of campers will put their thinking skills to the test and face off against each other in a thrilling battle of the minds.

    MyCamp Play – Beauty & The Beast

    In this two-week program, campers will work together to stage a Broadway style musical.  While everyone in the program will get a part in the play, there will be auditions for lead roles.  Participants will also work together on set and costume design.  The play will be performed at the end of the second week in front of the MyCamp unit.

    iCompute Multi-Media

    Campers will try their hand at a variety of multi-media programs, like Video Comic Book, Video Game Design, Lego Animation and more!!  Campers will be introduced to different programs daily and will have the opportunity to learn and apply skills in coding, iMovie and stop-motion technology.  They will be able to demonstrate their projects to their peers at the end of the week.

    Cake Decorating

    In this program, campers will learn and apply a variety of cake decorating techniques including using fondant, buttercream as well as how to make flowers and other edible decorations.  Throughout the week campers will participate in several cake or cupcake decorating challenges.  The best part is they get to eat their creations!!!

    Bling Your Room

    Campers will work on creating a variety of craft projects to spice up their rooms!  Using their own creativity and style, campers will learn the techniques on how to make pillows, cork boards, paintings and more.  Their creations will be displayed at the end of the week for the MyCamp Showcase!

    An introduction to playing a variety of musical instruments including guitar, keyboard and drums.  Campers will be taught basic skills and will also learn about rhythm and chords.  Campers who already play can work on advancing their skills and demonstrating their knowledge to their peers.  Throughout the week campers will learn to play a song on their instrument of choice and will perform during the MyCamp Showcase.
