Rope Climbing at Green Acres Day Camp

What Makes Green Acres Different?

By | Camp Blog | No Comments

Parents always ask us what makes Green Acres Day Camp different from the other day camps in the GTA? Aside from over 100 acres of incredible outdoor space, our top- notch indoor facilities and over 40 amazing activities, it’s the people at Green Acres that make the biggest difference and the largest impact.

We Partner with Parents

From the moment a camper is registered, we like to partner with families to make sure that every child has the most unbelievable camp experience. We begin by helping parents choose between our four different programs – Traditional, All-Star Sports, Horseback Riding and Specialty camps—suggesting the best combination tailored to each individual child.

We pride ourselves in being flexible to accommodate the needs of both parents and campers. We do our very best to help parents with respect to changes in programming, length of stay, transportation arrangements, all at no extra cost.

An Experienced Staff

We also pride ourselves in our Head Staff Leadership Team. Many of them are educators, parents and long-time Green Acres staff. They are extremely dedicated, creative and have a true passion for working with children. During the summer, you can contact them anytime and will receive a timely response. Eddy, the Founding Director, started Green Acres over 50 years ago. He, along with his daughter, Lori, and the other Directors, Darren and Kathy, are onsite every day and are always available to speak with parents via phone, email or in person.

No Risk Camp Refund Policy

While most campers have an amazing experience, we recognize that every camper is different. In the unlikely event that Green Acres is not the right fit, we offer a ‘No Risk Camp Refund Policy’. This gives parents the comfort of knowing that if their child is unhappy after the first three days of their session, Green Acres will provide a full refund (less the first three days).

We are truly confident that our Directors, Administrators, Head Staff, Counselors and Instructors will provide you and your children with a unique and unbelievable camp experience.

Call us at 905-887-1400 to experience the difference or visit www.campgreenacres.com!
