Eddy Bogomolny is the Founding Director of Camp Green Acres. Since its inception in 1966, Eddy has been actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the camp. Not only does he spend ten months of the year preparing and planning for camp, but each day of the summer he is on the grounds with the kids, getting to know everyone personally and making sure everything runs smoothly.
Lori Bogomolny is the second generation to run Camp Green Acres. Building on her father’s traditions and lifelong involvement in camping, Lori is dedicated to building a new generation of Green Acres campers and families. She takes pride in building personal relationships and is committed to ensuring that every camper, parent, and staff is having the best possible camp experience.
Kathy Fleming has been at Green Acres for 20 summers! During the year, Kathy is involved in all aspects of camp including hiring, program planning, staff training and more! During the summer, she supervises our Head Staff and oversees all programming at Camp as well as Leadership Training Program. She is a great resource to both parents and staff! Kathy is known for her leadership, creative ideas and for her enthusiasm. Kathy’s goal is to ensure that both campers and staff the most memorable summer at GA!
Phil Faibish a camping industry veteran with over 20 years of experience! Phil has held various supervisory roles, and for the last decade, he served as the Director of a Toronto-area day camp. He’s now joined the Green Acres team in 2019, and he’s excited to meet all the fantastic campers, staff, and parents! Phil’s energy is infectious, his spirit is creative, and his personality is approachable, making him a crowd favorite in the community. He’s known for his unwavering commitment to giving campers an unforgettable summer experience. Get ready to have some fun with Phil at Green Acres Camp!
Sandy Griffiths has been an integral part of the Green Acres team for over 35 years. She is your direct contact when it comes to registration, enrolment, and making the right camp decisions for your children. During camp time Sandy is here to answer all of your questions and help with your concerns.

Rowan Weisbach has been part of the Green Acres family for over 10 years. She started out as a counsellor, then Head Staff and now has been part of our administration and registrar team in the office for many years. Along with Sandy, she is always there to help you with any registration or enrolment questions you may have.
Sandy and our Director Team are available year round to help you customize your child’s camp programs and to ensure that you make the right decisions and choices.
Yan Liu (Grace) is our Manager of International Camp Programs. She is your direct contact to assist families sending children from overseas to experience Camp Green Acres. She can help families and friends with VISA applications, travel arrangements and accommodations. Our experience navigating and adapting throughout the pandemic over the past years, along with over 55 years in camping, has strengthened us as leaders and innovators! We love what we do and that is to provide children with an incredible camp experience while giving parents the peace of mind that their children are safe and well looked after!! Camp Green Acres’ superior facilities are second to none!!! Our summer camp is situated on 110 acres in a beautiful country setting, conveniently located near Toronto. Camp is easily accessible by highways 401, 404 and 407. The camp is equipped with indoor and outdoor facilities, two on-site heated pools, and a on-site heated junior waterslide park.
Our facilities also include soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, biking trails, ropes course and climbing walls, 9 hole mini-golf course, tennis courts, recording studio, cooking café, farm animals, lots of tetherball and gaga ball courts, bon fire pit and indoor theatre. We also have many indoor activity spaces, shaded picnic areas, water fountains scattered throughout camp, an air conditioned health centre and flush toilets. In addition, our Cedar Creek onsite horseback riding camp includes an 18 stall barn, an indoor riding arena, viewing room, 3 grass rings and 1 sand ring.
Each unit and area of camp has its own rec hall facility, change rooms, and shaded picnic table area.

Parent Communication
Maintaining a connection with our camp families is extremely important to us. We understand that parents value timely and effective communication. Therefore, our friendly and knowledgeable Office staff, Head Staff and Directors are available anytime by phone and email to get your feedback, answer your questions or get an update on how your child is doing. Prior to the start of camp, the Office is open year-round to help you choose the best camp program for your child or to request a tour of the facilities. In the spring, the Directors host a Parent Orientation Meeting. You will also receive a Parent Handbook and an introductory email from both your Head Staff and your child’s counsellors.
In terms of bussing communication, you will have access to a bus tracker to track your child’s bus and we also send text messages to parents should a bus incur a significant delay.
