When To Call and When to Email
Keeping open lines of communication with our camp families is very important to us. Whether by phone, e-mail, bus mail or in person, we want you to feel comfortable asking us questions, sharing insight about your child or providing us with feedback.
Please use the outline below as your guide:
By phone (905) 887-1400…
- If you will be picking your child up early from camp
- If you are dropping off a camper late
- If you are making any changes to your child’s transportation
- For any registration inquiries/changes
- To discuss cabin groupings (contact Sandy)
- To speak to a Director or Unit Head
- To contact the Camp Nurse
- To contact the Swim Office (urgent information)
- To report restrictions in your child’s daily activities (eg. child cannot swim today, child cannot participate in sports today, etc.)
- To let us know that your child is going to be absent
- For anything urgent

- To contact a Director, Nurse, Swim Director or Unit Head about a non-urgent matter.
- To pass on non-urgent information about your child
- To ask questions regarding your child’s well being
- To see how your child is adjusting to camp
- Lost and found inquiries
- To inquire about camp programs, theme days, etc.
E-mails will be checked three times per day (prior to camp, mid morning and after camp). Once your email is sent you will receive an automatic reply letting you know that you should expect an informed reply by the end of the next camp day.
Please understand that the Directors’ and Unit Heads’ first responsibility during the camp day is to be outdoors to support the welfare of the children and staff and ensure that Camp is running smoothly.
