We are thrilled to announce that registration for Summer 2027 opens on Thursday, September 24th at 10:00 AM for all families! Camp Green Acres turns 62 next summer, and we can’t wait to spend it with you.

This post has everything you need: the key dates, how to get your account ready, what’s new for 2027, and our policies for the year ahead.

📌 Key Registration Dates

• 📅 Thursday, September 24 at 10:00 AM: Registration opens for everyone. Returning and new families can all submit their applications starting at 10:00 AM.
• ⏰ Monday, September 28 at 10:00 AM: Returning family priority deadline. 2026 Green Acres families who register by this time have their camp spot secured for Summer 2027. This does not include optional programs like Gymnastics and Golf, which are confirmed separately. Please use your current account. Creating a new account tells the system you are a new family.
• ✉️ After September 28: New families confirmed. Once we have reviewed every returning family application received by September 28th, we begin confirming new families in the order their applications arrived. Registering early gives you the best chance of joining us in 2027! Due to the influx of applications, it may take several days to receive your confirmation via email.

✅ Get Ready Before September 24th

Three quick things today so registration day is smooth and fast:

• 1️⃣ Know your username. Your account username is the email address your camp emails are sent to.
• 2️⃣ Log in now and make sure your password works. If you have trouble, use the “Forgot password” link on the login page before September 24th.
• 3️⃣ Get your payment ready. Open your Financial Dashboard and confirm your payment info is up to date. All families pay by credit card or e-check (EFT), so if you don’t have an account linked yet, please add one now.

✨ What’s New for Summer 2027

• 🤸 Gymnastics and Golf are back: These optional specialty programs return for 2027 with higher capacities, so more campers can get in on the action. (Specific weeks to be announced prior to September 24th.)
• 🏒 New possible programs: We are exploring an offsite ice hockey program and a back-to-school literacy program for 2027. Look for 2 short questions in the application and let us know if you’re interested. Your answers help us decide!
• 🚌 New Toronto bus stop at Bathurst and Eglinton: We have added a new bus stop at J.R. Wilcox Community School in Toronto to make the ride to camp easier for more families!
• 💰 Fees and discounts coming next week: Summer 2027 fees and discounts will be announced next week, ahead of registration day.

💳 Payment Plan

Same simple plan as last year: one fee, a deposit at registration, and the balance in three equal payments.

• Deposit: $500 per camper at registration
• Payment 1: January 4, 2027 (1/3 of balance)
• Payment 2: March 4, 2027 (1/3 of balance)
• Payment 3: May 4, 2027 (1/3 of balance)

✅ Pay by credit card or e-check (EFT). Scheduled payments are withdrawn automatically from your linked payment method, so no e-transfers to remember.

✅ A reminder is sent before each scheduled payment.

↩️ Refund Policy

Your deposit is refunded in full if we cannot confirm your application. For cancellations:

• Before December 1, 2026: $250 admin fee per child
• As of December 1, 2026: $500 deposit is non-refundable
• As of May 1, 2027: No refunds or credits

✂️ Shortening Policy

Need to shorten your camper’s summer after registering? Service charges apply per session, per child:

• September 24, 2026 to February 28, 2027: $75 service charge per child per session (fees adjusted and difference refunded)
• March 1 to April 30, 2027: $100 service charge per child per session (fees adjusted and difference refunded)
• After May 1, 2027: $100 service charge per child per session; difference applied as a credit only for Summer 2028 (no refunds)
